Iverson Eicken, Ph.D.

Dr. Iverson “Ive” Eicken grew up in Chicago, and did his undergraduate work at U.C. Berkeley.  His doctorate in counseling psychology is from Oklahoma State University.  Before coming to Milestones Ranch Malibu, Ive worked at college counseling centers, an eating disorder clinic, drug and alcohol clinic, and he maintains a small private practice in Santa Monica. 

Dr. Ive is interested in how the mind and body work together, and is interested in treating the whole individual.  It is very important to Ive that all interventions and treatment have some practical application.  He focuses on what is working and what’s not, and finding specific pragmatic ways to use insight in making a difference in our lives. 

Pacific Palisades is home to Dr. Ive where a golden retriever, Murray Bowwowan, kindly lets Ive live with him.
